Event Participation, Safety & Liability Acknowledgment: 

By entering or attending any USA Dance event—including but not limited to monthly dances, weekly lessons, workshops, showcase performances, and competitions—you acknowledge and understand that participation in dance activities involves inherent risks. These risks may include, but are not limited to, personal injury, illness (including exposure to COVID-19), loss of property, or damage to personal belongings.

USA Dance, Inc., USA Dance Chapter 6010, and the Tallahassee Senior Center shall not be held liable for any personal injury, illness, loss, theft, or damage to property sustained by any individual attending or participating in the event. This includes, but is not limited to, board members, volunteers, employees, vendors, sponsors, participants, or any other person acting on behalf of or attending USA Dance events.

Participation in any USA Dance event—including competitions, dance camps, workshops, showcase performances, or social dances—is entirely voluntary. By participating, you assume all associated risks and affirm that, to the best of your knowledge, you are physically and mentally capable of participating in the event.

All USA Dance Chapter 6010 dance events are tobacco-free, including the use of cigarettes, cigars, vaping devices, or smokeless tobacco products. Individuals who do not adhere to acceptable standards of behavior, event policies, or facility rules—including USA Dance Chapter 6010’s tobacco-free policy—may, at the sole discretion of the chapter or event organizers, be asked to leave the event premises without refund.
