2010 Tallahassee USA DANCE Event Schedule

Dance are held at The Senior Center, 1400 N. Monroe Street. Dance 7:30 -10:30   Fees: for members- $8 with DJ music, $10 with live band music;  for non-members-$12 with DJ music, $15 with live band music.  Dances are alcohol and smoke free.

WEEKLY and MONTHLY

Mondays:
Tallahassee Ballroom Dance Night at the American Legion 8-10:30 pm. Starting Monday, $5 per person. DJ: Dick Hagen. Free Lessons from 7:30 – 8:00, instructor TBA.  Complimentary Soft Drinks & Snacks. Non-Smoking & Non-Alcohol Environment!!  299 Lake Ella Drive, Tallahassee Fl.

Tuesdays:
Tallahassee Swing Band, American Legion Hall, Lake Ella, Time: 7:30 pm. Cost $8

Wednesdays:
Country Western dance lessons for beginners with Sue Boyd at the American Legion Hall at Lake Ella. Beginner level at 6:30 pm.  Cost: $8.00 Intermediate begins at 8:15 pm, Cost is $8.00 or attend both classes for $13.00.

NY Style Salsa Classes: The next 6 week session starts July 29, 2010 and ends September 09, 2010.

Class Schedule:
Thursday:
Beginner Level (8:30pm-10:00pm)
This class covers the basics. This includes basic step, basic turns, proper lead and follow techniques, body movement, hand positions, styling, and beginning level footwork (shines).

Beg/Intermediate Level (9:00pm-10:00pm)
Advance your mambo steps with the Tallahassee Mambo Project Beg/Intermediate classes. You must pre-register for Beg/Intermediate classes.

Price:
$6 dollars per class per level
$30 dollars for entire session (you get one class for free with this deal!)

Saturdays:
